Itinerary:

8:40 AM – Departure from Marrakech to the Gorges of Moulay Brahim:

  • Depart from your hotel in Marrakech and head towards the Gorges of Moulay Brahim.
  • Arrive at the starting point of the main trail and take in the spectacular landscape during a camel ride.

9:30 AM – Camel Ride:

  • Enjoy a scenic camel ride with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
  • After the camel ride, reboard the vehicle and continue your journey through the Imlil Valley, passing by several ancient villages.

10:30 AM – Arrival in Imlil Village:

  • Arrive in Imlil, where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea by a local family.
  • Begin your hike through the villages of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula.

12:00 PM – Stop at Tamatert:

  • Take a break at Tamatert to admire panoramic views of the ancient irrigation terraces for barley, corn, and vegetables.
  • Enjoy the sight of cherry and walnut orchards before continuing your hike.

1:00 PM – Traditional Lunch in Ait Souka:

  • Arrive at the village of Ait Souka.
  • Savor a traditional lunch prepared by a local family in their home, accompanied by refreshing mint tea.

2:30 PM – Hike to Armed Village:

  • After lunch, continue your hike to Armed, the highest and largest village in the Imlil Valley.
  • Explore charming hamlets and learn about the daily life of the local inhabitants.

4:00 PM – Descent to Taourirt:

  • Descend to the other side of the valley through Taourirt.
  • Take in the picturesque landscapes along the way.

5:00 PM – Return to Marrakech:

  • Return to Marrakech in a comfortable car.
  • Arrive at your hotel in Marrakech at the end of the day.
