Day 1: Journey to Tacheddirt (2314m)
- Departure from Marrakech: Our journey begins with an exciting evening departure from Marrakech at 7:30 PM, near the Marrakech train station. As we leave the bustling city behind, we’ll travel through scenic routes, gradually ascending into the tranquil beauty of the High Atlas Mountains.
- Arrival in Tacheddirt: Upon reaching Tacheddirt, the highest village in the Toubkal National Park, we’ll be warmly welcomed into a charming guesthouse managed by a local family. This traditional village, nestled at 2314 meters, offers a glimpse into the Amazigh way of life. A delicious, home-cooked dinner will be served, featuring local specialties that highlight the region’s rich culinary heritage.
Day 2: Ascent of Mount Anghmer (3891m)
- Morning Departure: After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off early to conquer Mount Anghmer. The ascent begins with a picturesque hike through the valley, where the morning light casts a magical glow over the snow-capped peaks and verdant landscapes.
- Picnic Lunch: Midway through our climb, we’ll pause for a picnic lunch in a serene spot, surrounded by the majestic High Atlas Mountains. This is the perfect time to relax, take photos, and soak in the incredible views.
- Summit Achievement: As we reach the summit of Mount Anghmer, standing tall at 3891 meters, a sense of accomplishment will wash over us. The panoramic vistas from the top are nothing short of spectacular, offering unobstructed views of the Tacheddirt Valley and beyond. We’ll take time to celebrate our achievement and capture unforgettable memories.
- Return to Tacheddirt: Our descent will bring us back to Tacheddirt, where a traditional hammam session awaits, providing a soothing and rejuvenating end to our day’s adventure. Dinner will be another delightful affair at the guesthouse, with time to share stories and experiences from the day.
Day 3: Return to Marrakech
- Morning in Tacheddirt: After breakfast, we’ll have a leisurely morning to explore the village, interact with the locals, and learn more about their customs and traditions. This is a unique opportunity to connect with the community and understand their way of life.
- Return Journey: We’ll then embark on our journey back to Marrakech, carrying with us the memories of an incredible adventure. The estimated arrival time in Marrakech is 2:00 PM, giving you the afternoon to relax or explore the city.
