At the threshold of this adventure, the village of Amsouzert opens its doors to you, a gem nestled at 1797 meters altitude, where tradition blends into the landscape. Our second day is devoted to exploring the tranquil beauty of Lake Ifni. As we hike towards the lake, we pass through stunning valleys and traditional villages. Upon reaching the lake, you will be captivated by its serene waters surrounded by towering peaks. Spend the afternoon relaxing, swimming, and taking in the majestic views. This enchanting location promises to provide an unforgettable experience of peace and natural splendor.
Expedition Summary:
Day 1: Friday – Departure from Marrakech to the Village of Amsouzert
Depart from Marrakech and head towards the magnificent Toubkal National Park. Arrive in the afternoon at the charming village of Amsouzert (1797m), where you will be warmly welcomed in a comfortable guesthouse. Enjoy a generous dinner and a cup of tea before a relaxing stroll through the village.
Day 2: Saturday – Hike to Lake Ifni and Campfire Evening
After a hearty breakfast, begin your hike through the beautiful valleys and traditional villages of Takatert and Imhilene. Arrive at Lake Ifni for lunch, followed by an afternoon of relaxation and swimming in this breathtaking setting. Set up your camp and enjoy a magical “Into the Wild” evening around a campfire, under the stars, accompanied by music.
Day 3: Sunday – Return to Amsouzert and Departure
After breakfast by the lake, head back to the village of Amsouzert. A lunch will await you at the guesthouse before your departure for Marrakech in the afternoon.
